Yard Waste

There is no charge for yard waste brought in paper yard waste bags.

Yard Waste

Leaves, grass and other yard waste in paper yard waste bags are composted at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility and will be used in future landscape projects. Composting yard waste reduces the amount of waste going to the landfill thus extending the life of the landfill.

There is no tipping charge for yard waste in paper yard waste bags, however haulers still need to cross the scales and check in with the scale house attendant.

Composting reduces climate changing emissions and returns much needed carbon back to the earth which supports the growing of plants.
